Rob is a founding Partner of Chicago Growth Partners. Prior to founding CGP, Rob was a Managing Director at William Blair Capital Partners and, currently, is a Managing Director and member of the Board of Managers of WBCP VII. Rob spent three years as a General Partner with ClearLight Partners, a private equity firm based in Newport Beach, California. Prior to ClearLight Partners, Rob was a Principal at William E. Simons & Sons, a Los Angeles based private equity firm. Rob worked in investment banking in New York and Los Angeles with Merrill Lynch & Company prior to joining Simon. Early in his career, Rob served for nine years as an officer in the United States Army.
