Ron joined our team in January 2008 as an Operating Partner. Ron is an experienced business executive; with accomplishments quite familiar to our firm. In 2005, CGP hired Ron as President/COO of a new technology-driven investment, eInstruction Corporation. At eInstruction, the leading provider of testing and assessment software to K-12 and postsecondary education institutions, Ron oversaw the Company's sales, marketing, technology and subsidiary operations. In less than two years, Ron led a number of key initiatives that contributed significantly to eInstruction’s impressive revenue and earnings growth.
Prior to joining eInstruction, Ron was a partner at Fort Dearborn Partners, a management consulting and merchant banking operation, where he successfully managed several middle market businesses and consistently delivered superior rates of return to his clients and investors.
Ron is currently supporting growth initiatives and profit optimization efforts at several of CGP portfolio companies. Ron holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. |
